How to Make Tasty Buddah Bowl with Sriracha Yogurt Sauce

Make this tasty buddha bowl immediately prior to serving. Or, if you’re packing it for lunch, go ahead and cook the veggies and then pack the ingredients in sealable containers. Then, when lunchtime rolls around, simply heat up the ingredients that need to be heated, and arrange everything else in your bowl and enjoy!

You’d never guess this recipe, so packed full of flavor, is made with so few ingredients! Here’s everything needed to make this tasty buddha bowl:

  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt (use dairy-free for vegan)
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 packet Tasty Bite® Basmati Rice™
  • 1 packet Tasty Bite® Spinach Dal™
  • 6 asparagus spears
  • 6 brussels sprouts
  • 1 cup chopped sweet red pepper(mini bell peppers)
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, washed, patted dry and chopped.
  • 6 strands of thinly sliced red onion

Stir the Sriracha Yogurt sauce together and set it aside. Follow the instructions on the package to heat up the Basmati Rice and Spinach Dal. Then cook the asparagus, Brussels sprouts, and red pepper in a skillet over medium heat. Once they’re tender, you’re ready to arrange your buddha bowl.

Arrange the rice next to the dal, and then add the veggies and drizzle with the Sriracha yogurt sauce. Lunchtime perfection!
