A golden twist on takeout-style fried rice. This quick stir-fry is packed with colorful veggies, fluffy rice, and a boost of turmeric for flavor and wellness in every bite.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 Pouches TASTY BITE® Turmeric Rice
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 cup onion, diced
- 1 cup green peas, frozen
- 1 cup diced carrots, frozen
- 2 tsp. ginger powder
- 2 tsp. cumin
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. sesame oil
METHOD

1. HEAT large skillet on medium heat with olive oil; add diced onions and saute until softened, about 5 minutes.

2. ADD sesame oil, peas, carrots, ginger and cumin; cook until vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes, then remove from heat.

3. MICROWAVE Tasty Bite® Turmeric Rice, per pouch instructions.

4. MIX rice and soy sauce in skillet with vegetables.
